Due to the increase to optometrist scope of practice, Dr. Jade and Dr. Sarah’s eye care office in Lloydminster has optometrists who have completed a certification course that allows us to practice to our full abilities. This means certain eye conditions and diseases (glaucoma) can be diagnosed and treated in office without a referral to the city. In our office, we have equipment that has been upgraded to produce high definition results to better accommodate our patients. We have an OCT, retinal camera, Telemed capabilities, visual fields, and a corneal topographer.
